About Us
Manali Industries Association (MIA) was established in 10th day of June 1991 by a group of visionaries who envisioned the need for an association to boost Indian economy were economic liberalization take place across the nation. MIA has been driven by working professionals and visionaries of manali industrial cluster. It promotes sustainable growth of manali region in Tamilnadu.
MIA jointly works with government concerning ecology and environment protection of the region, Industrial economic development.
Mainly MIA offer bridge to collaborate industries, sharing technologies and inventions to improve the sustainable development in Energy and environment management.
Objective
- To organise and unite all those engaged in industrial, trading, manufacturing and all other allied activities in Manali region near Madras in one Association under one banner and to develop and stimulate the growth of such activities of member units.
- To Protect and promote and to concert and to promote measures for the protection, promotion and advancement of the interests of member units and Manali region.
- To represent, assist, co-operate, make arrangement and Agreements with Government of India, State Government and its agencies, and other statutory bodies, Associations and Chambers of Commerce regarding their common issues, questions of privileges and rights and other matters concerned.
- To Provide all necessary facilities as far as possible for promoting the interests of the member units particularly by
- Arranging Meetings, Conferences, Exhibition, Demonstrations, Lectures Excursions and other functions
- Investigating, Collecting, publishing and circulating information and statistics
- Exploring possibilities of putting up infrastructural facilities on shared basis
- Undertaking periodic Industry level review studies on critical areas like Environmental impact Assessment, Energy Conservation etc.,
- Undertaking social activities to improve living standards of the Manali region
- Appointment of mediator’s arbitrators and consultants for settling differences & disputes if any, among members or other agencies.
- To enlighten public opinion in favour of the advancement of industries, communications and environment of Manali region
- To organise Educational programmes for training of industrial employees and other eligible public in the area
- To maintain a library, school and hospital for the use of industrial employees and the community in the area
- To do such acts and things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objectives or any of them.
